SCIENCE LAB|GARNIER
Garnier has always been a household staple for its accessibility, but they faced a specific challenge: they weren't being perceived as "high-performance" enough compared to premium brands.
My mission as Art Director was to bridge that gap. I wanted to prove that affordability doesn't mean a compromise on science.
The "Science Lab" Concept
I imagined a space that felt both clinically expert and social-media-friendly. We moved away from traditional "beauty shots" to create the Garnier Lab.
My goal was to make the science behind the products "pop" on screen. We brought in a real scientist to lead the narrative, but I focused the visual energy on "The Proof." Whether it was using iodine on an avocado to simulate dark spots or a steam test on hair to demonstrate anti-frizz technology, I wanted the audience to see the efficacy in real-time.
Creative Process
I chose an aesthetic that was clean and bright, using Garnier’s iconic green as a "technological" accent. I worked closely on the motion design and pacing to ensure that even the most technical data felt fast, engaging, and "scroll-stopping."
Result
We successfully transformed complex laboratory data into high-impact social content. For me, this project was about more than just skin or hair care; it was about democratizing science and making high-performance beauty feel accessible to everyone.
