THE COMMENT THAT STAYED|LA ROCHE-POSAY
Give someone nine compliments and one insult — it’s the insult they’ll remember.
The comment that stayed
This series builds on that simple truth: a single comment about our skin, received in our youth, can shape how we see ourselves for years.
Across the series, guests open up in a safe space created by La Roche-Posay — tracing their story before the comment, the moment it landed, and the path they've walked since, ending on a note of self-acceptance.
format
A 9-film series: 1 teaser, 1 dermatologist focus, and 6 core films — each an intimate conversation between a dermatologist and a guest sharing the comment that marked them.
MY ROLE — ART DIRECTOR
Co-created with a creative partner (concept & writing), I led the visual side: art direction (set design, lighting, styling, motion), director's treatment, guest pre-interviews, on-set direction and post-production.
METRICS
+120K views across La Roche-Posay's social platforms.
Creative Process
I built the visual world around intimacy and truth: a warm, minimal set that felt like a safe space rather than a studio, natural light, and honest styling that let real skin — and real emotion — come through.
Result
We turned a simple human truth — that one comment can outweigh a hundred compliments — into an intimate series that reached +120K views across La Roche-Posay's platforms. For me, this project was about more than skincare; it was about giving people a space to reclaim the words that once marked them.
